The Showdown

We didn't exactly lose. In fact we got 4th place. I'm not that satisfied with the result but that's okay. I know we have put off our best performance on stage the other day. It was fun and I sure hope to do it again. Well, at least we enjoyed. If you have no idea of what I'm talking about, I'm actually talking about my college's YPC Idol on the 23rd May 2013. We sang 'I Want It All & Bop To The Top'. I remixed both of the songs together. I'm officially a DJ now. LOL.

Okay. I shall include the videos below just in case you guys wanna have a look at our performances.

This was during the Semi Final. We sang 'Way Back Into Love' by Hugh Grant & Haley Banette. Next stop.

This is our rehearsal video of I Want It All & Bop To The Top. We really enjoyed the practice. Here, I wanna make a shout out to Hui Ling. Thank you for joining me in this competition. I really appreciate it and your sacrifices for the practices as well. I'm really glad to have you in my life and also Sook Ching & Yoey with helping out with the props. Without you guys, our performances will be like....i don't know. HAHAHAHAHA.

Well, most importantly I WANNA THANK EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED US! I REALLY APPRECIATE A LOT. IT HAS GIVEN ME THE COURAGE TO PERFORM ON STAGE. I did my best and I'm pretty sure Hui Ling did hers as well. I'm sorry for disappointing you guys because we got 4th place. We'll do better next time :) Okay. So, here's the video of our singing and performance on stage.

Once again, we really enjoyed our time on stage. Seriously, we don't feel nervous at all. We nailed it. Also we had a lot of great time during practices after class as well. There was once when we were practicing in the 'Student Council Room', I broke better yet destroyed the meeting table in the room. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. We had so much fun laughing. Oh and special thanks to everyone who has helped with making the props :) I really love it.

Here are some pictures taken on the day itself.

Oh and the 1st place goes to my friend Turtle. That's her nickname. HAHAHAHA. She sang Katy Perry's Part Of Me & Westlife's Uptown Girl. She made one of her friend dressed up as a girl. Here are the pictures :P

Check him.......I mean her out :P HAHAHAHAHHAHA! Oh well. That's all for now. Signing off.

YPC Idol Finale

I can't believe that Hui Ling & I would actually make it through the audition but we did. Luck much eyh? Oh well. We did. So yeah.

It's only a day to go before the finale. It's on Thursday which is also a Lecturer's Day celebration at my college. Oh just so you know, YPC is the name of my college. So that explains YPC Idol.

We planned to sing I Want It All & Bop To The Top by Ryan and Sharpay from High School Musical. I really wanna win it this time. We didn't practice all these for nothing. Oh and since the song I Want It All is some sort of a Sharpay style (those of you who have watched HSM would know) we decided to do a drama kind of thing as well. Acting like as if we're famous.

Here's the deal. Hui Ling and I asked a few of our friends to help. The guys as usual being all, "Nah! Don't want la. Lazy!" Now I know who my friends are. And the girls, "You tell me what to do la. You don't tell, how I know what to do?"
It pisses me off to the max. I mean, all we asked was could you help us out and you give answers like that?! It's like you ask me, "Do you want McDonald's?" and I answer, "What is it made of? Who is the founder? How much calories does a burger contain?"

It's completely irrelevant. All I asked was for a YES or NO answer and what you gave me?! Sometimes, I really wish I didn't have met these people. So immature. I'm sorry if I'm ranting so much. I have mood swings too kay. I think I'm having my period.

Oh well, this is just the beginning. How am I gonna survive this? Oh well, gonna continue my Pokemon journey.

Gone Wrong

Those tears are in your eyes
No, I don't want to see you cry
Why don't you give it a second try?
Don't just say goodbye

We may not be the same
But we can still try this game
Let's just walk through the rain
And start all over again

College friends are starting to dislike one another. Again, I'm in the middle. Which also means choosing sides. A or B? Them or them? I ain't gonna choose this time. I'm tired of this. I thought everyone will be mature enough. I doubt that. I didn't see that coming. I feel like I should just stay alone. Gain some 'Hi Bye' friends. That's enough.

Moving on. Have I ever mentioned that I dislike waiting? Whether it is for a friend who always come late, a text, a surprise, anything. I just don't like it. Let's talk about texting. No one likes waiting for a reply. Especially when you're waiting for a message on Whatsapp. I bet those of you who have went through this will always check on the contact's 'last seen today/yesterday at 00:00' status. That's what I do all the time.

It's actually okay to see the 'last seen' status. Well, at least you know they're not online at the moment. The worse thing is when you see the 'online' status yet not getting any replies. I die a little inside. It makes me feel like that person doesn't want to talk to me. I'm fine with that because I get that a lot.

Sometimes, I would just stay up all night to wait for your reply. What do I get? Nothing. I ended up going to sleep with anxiety. Now I know the reason why I'm always sleepy and tired. Well, at least that's something that everyone can relate to. We all have tried to forget and just move on. Let me guess. It didn't work out because we're still missing them mentally.

With this, I'll end,

Did you forgetThat I was even aliveDid you forgetEverything we ever had
Did you forget about me

Everyone's Just In Their Own World

It was Hui Ling's birthday on 7th May, Tuesday. So Tracy and I planned a surprise for her. This was our plan.

HUI LING'S SURPRISE PLAN (8th May 2013)
I planned to stay back at college with Hui Ling and a few others to practice for our singing competition (for those of you who don't know, I managed to enter the finals. YAY!) The rest of them will pretend to leave college. Then I'll bring Hui Ling to the cafe to eat and let the rest of them get ready for the surprise on the 5th floor of my college. Wee Ping and Sinwan would rush to Domino's Pizza to get pizzas. Then once everything's set up at the 5th floor, one of them should text me. This is where I'll tell Hui Ling let's practice our singing at the 5th floor. She would be surprised alright. Not knowing a single thing about this plan.

UNFORTUNATELY, something went wrong on that day. Wee Ping was feeling uncomfortable and Sook Ching went off just like that to the bank because she wanted to change her ATM card's pin number. Well, I wouldn't blame them. So I decided to just forget about the surprise and just bring her to Jusco for a lunch together. This is where things start to go haywire.

They seem to be okay with the plan. So we left college and walked there. Once we have reached there, we walked around aimlessly, not knowing where to have our lunch. Some were already frowning. I did not know why. Too hungry maybe? Or maybe they're tired of walking? I seriously have no idea.

So, we separated into 2 groups after walking around for about 10 minutes. Hui Ling, Tracy, Chun Hang, Wee Ping and I were in a group whereas the others are in another. We thought they went off to eat without us. So, we didn't bother. We decided to have our lunch at Kim Gary Restaurant.

As we were walking to the restaurant, Yoey called me. They said they were at KFC the entire time. So, goodbye to Kim Gary. We headed to KFC. Some wanted McDonald's and some wanted KFC. We didn't want to separate simply because we want to eat together with Hui Ling. It was hard to choose between these two.

I bet everyone has faced this before. So we ended up at KFC because there weren't any seats nor tables left at McDonald's. Guess what? We bought McDonald's and brought them to KFC. HAHAHAHA! We're like criminals. Oh well.

Once we're done eating we stood outside of KFC deciding where to go next. I mean where can we go already, there's nothing there at Jusco. Wanna go shopping in the supermarket? LOL. Chun Hang was sort of in a hurry. He left. We decided to walk to MPH. Some of them did except for me, Wee Ping, Tracy and Hui Ling. We wandered around the mall. Then we stopped by at the children's arcade. They were wondering why does everyone looks so sad and emotional? Well, I did too. Why the sad face? I didn't care. I didn't want to know. It's not because I don't care. It's because I know it won't be a good thing. So I went and buy two tokens and played DDR, short for Dance Dance Revolution. This game reminds me of high school.

Then, we walked to MPH to meet up with the rest. It turned out that most of them had already went home. So we met up with the rest and walked around again until one by one they went home. Everyone seems to dislike everyone. Why?

Well, months ago when we all first met, we were the craziest people in our college. Hanging out in a big number. A gang. Laughing, making jokes, teasing, crapping, talking, going home together, coming to college together. We used to have so much fun time TOGETHER, as a group. A big group.

Now, some prefer to be alone. Some, prefer to hang out with the ones they like. This big group of ours has been divided into smaller groups. We used to be a family.

We used to talk everyday on Whatsapp. Spamming one another in the group. Now, the group in Whatsapp barely exists. I know. This is how college life should be. I shouldn't be ranting so much. I just have to learn how to be more independent.

This has lead me to why I would say that everyone's just in their own world. I'm not Professor Xavier but I'm pretty sure everyone is in their own world. No doubts.

I Have Resurrected!

It's been a really long time since I last blogged and I found out that I have quite a number of blogs. 4 I would say. So what I did was, I made a new blog (which makes it 5 now) and I merged them all together. HAHAHAHAH.

OH WELL. I'm blogging with my phone now to see if it works.
